Signing Up

Step 1

Download the Calm Health app from the App Store or Google Play

Step 2

Click "Create a Calm Account"

Step 3

Select a Google, Apple, Facebook, or Email account to set up your Calm Health account

Step 4

Follow the steps to log in to your Google, Apple, Facebook, or Email account

Step 5

You’ll have the option to watch Calm Health onboarding videos. You’re all set!

Eligibility Confirmation

Calm Health is an invitation-only app from your health insurance plan, physician/care team, or employer. To confirm your eligibility and start using Calm Health:

Step 1

Enter your access code. This can be found in your Calm Health invitation email that you received from your health insurance plan, physician/care team, or employer.

Step 2

During the registration process, in addition to the access code, you may be asked to enter additional information to verify eligibility, based on the criteria your sponsor has selected. For example, your email, first and last name, date of birth, insurance member ID, employee ID, etc.

How to Change my Communications Preference

Step 1

Click on the circle with your initials on the upper right of the screen

Step 2

Scroll down to the “Notifications” section

Step 3

Update your preferences by turning Push and Email Notifications on or off

How to Change my Goals, Conditions, and Topics

You can update your goals, conditions, and topics anytime.

Step 1

Click “Plan” in the bottom navigation

Step 2

Click “Update Plan” in the bottom right of the screen

Step 3

Update your preferences and click “Save” or select “Cancel” to go back to the app

How to Retake my Screening

It’s recommended that you retake the mental health screening every four weeks, so you can track your journey. And don’t worry: If you forget, we’ll send you friendly reminders.

Step 1

Click “Plan” in the bottom navigation

Step 2

Scroll down to the “Mental Health Screening” section and click “Update” at the top of the screening section or “Update Screening” at the bottom of this section

Step 3

Answer the screening questions

How to Create a Health Summary

Step 1

Click on the circle with your initials on the upper right of the screen

Step 2

Scroll to the bottom to find the “Health Summary” section. Click “Generate Health Summary”

Step 3

Click "Done"

Step 4

After a few moments, your Health Summary document will appear just above the button you clicked to kick off this process

Step 5

Click on "Health Summary" to view the document

Understanding Your Plan

Your personalized plan consists of a collection of program recommendations for you based on your mental health screening results, goals, topics, or conditions.
